General information about employment in SvømKBH

To be employed as a lifeguard, you must first complete SvømKBH's basic training. Here, you will take the professional lifeguard exam. The course is free and ends with a 3-hour Basic Course, where you will learn about SvømKBH's approach to the lifeguard profession. 

You can be hired as a temporary worker or in a permanent position.

Coastal lifeguard 

At the beginning of each calendar year, we open applications for our coastal lifeguard training. Read more about the Copenhagen Municipality Coastal Lifeguard Service and get added to our coastal lifeguard interest list.

Agreement

The employees at the municipal swimming facilities work under the collective agreement for technical service between KL and FOA.
