Avoid sunscreen in the pool
- Sunscreen can cause the pool to close, so wash yourself thoroughly before entering the water – even if the sunscreen is waterproof or has dried completely.
- Sunscreen dissolves in the chlorinated water and is difficult for the water treatment plant to filter out.
