User Council
User Council at SvømKBH
User Groups at SvømKBH
At SvømKBH, we are very aware that our success and development depend on our ability to build strong relationships with our stakeholders. Every year, more than 1 million guests visit our indoor swimming facilities, while almost 4 million use our outdoor facilities. Our users primarily consist of:
- Members of the public
- Voluntary associations
- Schools
- Elite athletes
These four groups are among our most important stakeholders, and it is essential to keep them informed about our activities and future plans. By promoting transparency and dialogue, we strengthen trust and ensure that our users become active partners in the development of SvømKBH. For this reason, we invite users to a User Council meeting each year.
User Council Meetings
The User Council is open to anyone with an interest in our swimming facilities. At the meeting, participants can share their experiences, ask questions and have a say in how an annual User Council fund of DKK 400,000 is allocated. The fund is earmarked for equipment and initiatives that directly benefit users.
The event is announced through notices in the entrance areas of our swimming pools, on our website svoemkbh.kk.dk, on information screens and social media, as well as through direct invitations to voluntary associations and the swimming school operated by the Children and Youth Administration.
Prior to the meeting, interested users are given access to an online registration system that includes a questionnaire about user satisfaction and preferences. The questionnaire can also be completed by those who do not attend the meeting, enabling us to gather valuable feedback from as many users as possible.
User Council meetings are held 1–2 times a year. Invitations are sent out at least 14 days in advance.
