Associations, schools and institutions
We wish you a good time and look forward to your experience. When using our swimming facilities, you are expected to comply with the rules and procedures below. If this is not the case, the facility cannot be used.
Hygiene and safety rules
In addition to the general rules on hygiene and safety, you must comply with the following requirements:
- There must be at least one lifeguard qualified supervisor on the pool side with knowledge of local conditions such as lifesaving equipment and alarm plan and with a valid lifeguard certificate.
- The deep part of the pools is only for swimmers - unless it is a teaching situation where the children are properly secured. By swimmers we mean that they are able to swim 50 meters without rest or aids.
- The slides can only be opened by the responsible lifeguard during public opening hours, and trampoline jumping is not allowed on the slides.
- Regular swimwear must be worn, and T-shirts and scarves are not allowed. If the child cannot bathe in a regular swimsuit for religious reasons, the child can bathe in a swimsuit with long sleeves and legs and a bathing cap to cover the hair.
Conditions for associations
Activities at the swimming facilities are at your own risk, and you are fully responsible for the safety of your members. In addition, there are the following conditions:
- The responsible "supervisor" must have a valid lifeguard certificate and be familiar with the safety of the facility .
- Presentation of membership cards must be made upon request (e.g. if you have time at the same time as the public opening).
- We do not take responsibility for personal effects and valuables.
- You have to clean up after yourself.
- The barefoot areas may not be entered with outdoor footwear.
Conditions for schools and institutions
Activities at the swimming facilities are at your own risk, and you are fully responsible for the safety of your students. In addition, you must familiarize yourself with the Children and Youth Administration's swimming rules .

Visit during public opening hours
Please inform us of your visit at least one week in advance so that the staff can be prepared. If you are unable to attend, please let us know.
Prices and payment
Tickets can be purchased in our webshop or from the vending machines in the foyer.
Schools and other children's and youth institutions in the Municipality of Copenhagen have the opportunity to purchase an institution clip card. All participants from the institution, including adults aged 15 and over, redeem one clip per person. This requires that the institution creates a profile in our webshop in advance, where you can also see the current prices.
It is not possible to use institution cards at the weekends in the swimming pools.

Season and closing days
The season runs from September 1 to May 31. Remember to check the closing days and operating information at the respective facilities here on the website. As a rule, all users are cancelled in advance during school holidays, e.g. week 42, week 7 and Easter week (with the exception of Bellahøj). Contact the local facility to apply for training during these weeks. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible to comply with your request.
Cancellations
Unfortunately, cancellations may occur:
- Emergency cancellations that occur due to technical failures. We only cancel when necessary for safety reasons.
- Planned cancellations due to conventions or other activities at the facility. We try to schedule these in a way that causes as little disruption as possible. You can stay informed about planned cancellations on your booking messages, which are available on Interbook.
Organizing an event
If you want to hold a meeting or other event yourself, you must apply for it at the same time as the season application via the Association Portal . The application period is every other year no later than February 1st and is valid for 2 years.
Applications received during the season later than 5 weeks before the event/tournament will not be accepted in accordance with shift planning and staffing.
Access to changing rooms
You can access the changing room 15 minutes before the training session begins. The hall must be left immediately after the training session ends. The coach/supervisor is the last person to leave the facility. If you wish to access the facility earlier, this must be agreed with the local facility manager. It cannot be guaranteed that this is possible.
Minimum requirements for use of the facilities
Swimming facilities are a scarce resource that is in high demand. We use "minimum requirements" to ensure good utilization of the facilities.
If you discover that you do not meet the minimum requirements, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to find a solution.

- Swimming, 25m pools – 4 per lane (elite: 3rd per lane)
- Swimming, 50m pool – 8 per lane (elite: 6 per lane)
- Lifeguard – 4 per lane
- Free diving, fin and apparatus swimming – 3 per lane
- Disabled swimming – 2 per lane
- Water polo – 14 per pool
- Underwater rugby – 14 per pool
- Scuba diving – 14 per pool
- Freediving – 14 per pool
- Jumps – 12 per pool
- Kayak polo – 10 per pool
- Synchronized swimming – 10 per pool
- Other: Underwater hunting, water aerobics, etc. – 12 per pool
Teaching pool – Participants per hour
- Sundby and Emdrup – 14 in full and 7 in half basin
- Frankrigsgade, Øbro-Hallen, Bellahøj – 8 in full and 4 half basins
- Valby, hot water pool – 8 in full and 4 half pools
Supervision certificate - how to get it
At the beginning of the season, we will hold courses locally at the facilities, where supervision certificates can be acquired. There will also be the opportunity to acquire supervision certificates on an ongoing basis. The certificate is valid for 18 months and must be worn visibly in the swimming pool.
Registration is done electronically, and it is important that it is done with the club's approval. A valid lifeguard test passed under another auspices, (e.g. Svøm Danmarks Bassinlivredderprøve ), is also accepted.
